PROVIDING HERITAGE EDUCATION TO STUDENTS OF STONE TOWN SCHOOLS

ZSTHS in collaboration with the Stone Town Conservation and Development Authority visited various Secondary Schools within the Stone Town. Those schools are as follows; Kiponda, Hamamni, Tumekuja and Hurumzi Secondary Schools. The aim of the visit is to educate students about the heritage Stone Town, its importance, existing challenges as well as their contribution or participation in maintaining and developing the heritage of Zanzibar. The Awareness Program involved approximately six hundred and fifty (650) students (males and females), including; students of Form II, III and IV.
